Showing Support for your Graduate
On the day of, know when and where to arrive, review ceremony etiquette, and check out ways to celebrate your graduate's achievements with flowers or other gifts.
To honour the achievements of all graduates, guests are requested to remain until the end of the ceremony.
Guests are required to stay in their seats to take photos, keep the aisles clear, and not block the view of other guests.
Graduates will be crossing the stage in twos. We welcome you to celebrate your graduate by clapping and cheering once the names of both graduates crossing the stage have been announced.
Please review Canada Life Place's policies for bringing bags and other items to the venue.
Guests can pre-order flowers for their graduate and pick them up at Dundas Place outside Canada Life Place on their graduate’s convocation day.
If you choose to bring flowers, please always keep them with you. Flower deliveries to the venue will NOT be accepted, and the University is not responsible for lost or stolen bouquets.
