If you are unable to attend your convocation ceremony, your diploma will be available for pick up in Student Central after the ceremonies have taken place.

You may designate someone to pick up your degree on your behalf by setting up a Release of Information. From here you can specify the individual to whom you wish to give access and the specific access that you wish to assign to this individual. For "In-Person" pick-up, your authorized individual will be required to present a piece of government-issued photo identification.

Original diplomas are retained in the Office of the Registrar for two years following Convocation.

Diploma mailing is available through Student Center once your degree has been awarded. Mailing can take up to three weeks from the time your order is processed. You can request your diploma be mailed to you through the Office of the Registrar.

In accordance with the Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act (FIPPA) Western is responsible for protecting all personal information under its custody or control. By placing an online order, you are certifying that you are the student as stated; that the information provided is true and correct in all respects, and that you authorize the University of Western Ontario only as indicated.

You can order your diploma online through your Student Center! Follow the instructions below:

• Log in to your Student Center
• Select the "Academics" tile
• Click "Graduation"
• Select "Diploma Mailing"

Payment must be made online with a Visa or Mastercard through our online ecommernce system.
There are fees & processing times associated with diploma mailing:

• Diplomas are shipped with FedEx
• There is a charge of $60.00 for delivery within Canada, and $100.00 outside of Canada
• Diploma mailing may take up to 3 weeks following your convocation date or receipt of the request
